The Luxury Hotels That Made My Bucket List

Travelling and staying in new hotels is one of my favourite things to do. I love it of course because it usually means that I'm on holiday but also because I love to see how the interiors have been designed.

I've travelled a fair amount and stayed in some beautiful hotels over the years, but theres always another city, country or hotel that I'd like to visit. The following list contains the luxury hotels that are on my bucket list, enjoy!

Shangri-La, Paris

There's no question about it, Paris is my favourite city in Europe. I actually surprised myself when I figured that out because I've always preferred Italy over France, but there really is just something about Paris.
The Shangri-La hotel is stunning, you've more-than-likely seen it on Instagram - I'm talking about those 'room service with insane views of the Eiffel Tower' shots, thats the Shangri-La. The rooms are decorated in shades of blue, white and ecru to balance European with Asian aesthetic. The interior design is by Pierre-Yves Rochon and the architectural renovations are by Richard Martinet.

CONRAD BORA BORA NUI

Bora Bora is one of those holiday destinations that at some point, you just have to tick off your list. Staying at the Conrad would make it not just a holiday but an incredible experience, too. The overwater villas are beautiful, with options with or without a private infinity plunge pool and the rooms have been designed with natural materials and neutral colours which makes each room feel super relaxing. The hotel has 3 restaurants and 3 bars and all guests have access to water sports equipment, mini-golf and a private island known as Motu Tapu. It's the dream relaxation resort!

ONE&ONLY THE PALM, DUBAI

Dubai is another of my favourite holiday destinations for so many reasons; the culture is so interesting, the weather is good year-round and there's always so much to do.
The One&Only Resort is an insane place. The interiors are a mix of traditional Arabian and contemporary design which is perfect since a completely traditional design can feel dated. This hotel caters well for children and as there's so much to do in Dubai it's the perfect family holiday resort.

What are your favourite luxury hotels? I'm sure there's hundreds that I don't know about yet. Whether you've stayed there before or only dream about it, let me know!

Love, Bethany
