Our Completed Nursery Design

Hi lovely people & Happy New Year, I hope you all had the best time over the festive period and that 2019 has been kind to you so far!

I’m kicking off 2019 with our final nursery reveal. This room has been so lovely to design, it has become my little sanctuary in the last months of my pregnancy - I can’t keep out of here!

The warm hues, cosy textures and soft lighting make this room feel so tranquil and almost spa-like which is exactly the ambience that I wanted for our little girl. The bronze accents and almost pink tones can definitely be held accountable for the space turning out to be much girlier than I first imagined - although I’m not too mad about that! I really love that this space is clearly a little girls bedroom without any overly obvious hints.

You may remember from ‘My Nursery Design - Planning’ blog post that I had initially planned to have a sofa bed in this room. Unfortunately the fabric samples arrived too late and since I had a deadline for this space (my due date!) I decided to utilise our Eichholtz armchairs instead. They turned out perfectly for the nursery and it will be great to see if we ever feel that a sofa bed would have been more suitable before we buy our forever home.
