3 Contemporary Bathroom Designs

Bathrooms are great spaces to get creative with. Just like the dining room, we don't usually spend a lot of time in our bathrooms so it's a good idea to use this room to show off your taste. Although this is the case, it's still important that this space is calm and relaxing for the time that we do spend in there. Here are my 3 favourite designs that balance creativity and relaxation perfectly.

TAYLOR HOWES - KNIGHTSBRIDGE HOUSE

The architecture in this design is stunning, this building was originally a church so the designer had lots to work with. I love that they still added their own vista into the design (the decorative partition wall) regardless of the beautiful architecture, it mixes contemporary with classic perfectly.

STUDIA 54 - PRIVATE HOUSE IN ST. PETERSBURG

This bathroom feels so luxurious, the designer has used specific materials to diffuse the light softly around the room which creates an element of relaxation. The colour scheme feels dramatic which acts as the wow factor in this space.

LSA ARCHITECTS - ADELLE ARMADALE

Sometimes you just get lucky with a gorgeous location and using that element as the focal point can be a really beautiful way of adding interest to a space. I love how LSA Architects have opened this bathroom up with the floor-to-ceiling windows; it's a great way of bringing in natural light as well as introducing nature into the space.

I've been waiting for so long to design my own bathroom so I've got tons of creative ideas in my head; learning how to involve everything without going O.T.T should be interesting! What's your favourite thing about each of these designs?

Love, Bethany
